Up nice and early today despite the late hour to bed. We had breakfast (all gluten free-a lot of research into my affliction) which was tasty! Had a lengthy talk about what I was going to be doing throughout the week.
She’s a very talented artist with both exhibitions, teaching and many published books under her belt. I’m just SO lucky to be her only pupil at the moment.
I was presented with my set of 24 watercolours a mixing box, paint brushes, pads of different papers and other items
My first exercise was to fill the box with paints. The next was to make a ‘legend” of the colours placed in the box. I then drew many squares on the paper and made a cross-reference sheet of colour mixes.

We had a lovely lunch, did further work on another set of colours then went for a short walk to see the beautiful scene when the sun went down.

We were both mesmerised by the view and many beautiful shots of that view later we headed home after saying goodbye to a very loving pregnant black cat. I also took a shot of a prickly pear plant which apparently they eat.
We had what Dora calls supper at 8:00 and now I’ve come to bed because I feel like I’m going to pass out with fatigue.
Watch out tomorrow…
