Day two in Wales….

Waking to be given a cuppa and a shortbread in bed has to be the way to go on holidays. 😊. Actually takes me back to my childhood when I have to say my dad was pretty damned special. Every single day of our childhood he would wake us with a cuppa in bed and give mum tea and toast. How good a memory is that to have!

We decided, once we were ready that we would do a reconnoiter around the town and then have brunch later on. Discovering the wall, we found it very difficult to move any more than a few feet at a time due to the numerous photo opportunities, wow it was spectacular.

The photos don’t so it justice but we certainly had spectacular views from the castle walls. We also paid a pound to view inside the smallest house in Great Britain.

We stopped for lunch at a little cafe and I had the ā€˜cheesiest’ baked spud ever. Delicious. We did some shopping before returning home.

After lunch we made our way to Betws-y-coed. Wow. Beautiful. Stunning. So many photo opportunities.

We had an afternoon tea in the last little cottage. It was over 500 years old.

We came back to Conwy had dinner, we had been going to do a trivia night but decided to do that tomorrow instead.

Good night….. off to Harlech tomorrow….
