England here I come…..

Early up, cleaned up, packed up and we are ‘outta there’…. farewell Wales you are very beautiful.

Off down the A55 to Chester where the shopping is on what I think I was told are the oldest two level shopping areas built. It’s really quaint.

It’s gay pride week so the roads are blocked off and very little traffic. We found a fantastic little place for breakfast called Cinderbox Coffee. Exquisite. I had a Baileys Irish hot chocolate OMG

And some really tasty gluten free toast and marmalade

Moving on we travelled up England and decided to stop at an absolutely gorgeous town called Knaresborough. My stupid phone died so I will have to post more pics later from my camera. Honestly it’s simply amazing.

We stopped for a drink in the hotel at the bottom near where the bridge was and had thought we were going to come back and do a bit of a turn in a boat. But headed up to the Main Street. And boy I’m glad we did because the views from where the old castle was, down to where we were for our drinks were phenomenal. I will update the post later.

Lots of photo opportunities later and we only just made it back to the car on time. Right O, we are back into the car and offski….. Newcastle and the angel of the north here we come.

Arrived at our destination and settled ourselves in. Later on we went to dinner at Witherspoons in Gateshead for dinner. Ending up at home with a hot toddy using a 12 year old single malt whiskey. Probably sacrilege but it was very very nice and I’m nodding off as I speak

See you tomorrow …
