So you’re wondering who won the golf eh? Well…..anyone who has played at Warkworth golf course knows what a beast of a course it is. Someone would have a lot of balls to find if they went specifically for that, however we specifically lost a lot of balls in the gorse that runs down the sides of this insanely difficult course.
The last pic is of the ravine you have to hit over! Let alone the hole that you have to hit from the tee up to the top of the hill and I mean it’s a wall about twenty feet up before you can give it a whack along the fairway! Crazy stuff
So anyway… we are both playing with borrow clubs, both hitting off the same tees (but my golf partner is a man) and we actually drew again! I think I found as many balls as I lost but apart from that it was lovely weather and we played golf in England. So it can’t be a bad day with views like that. And bonus – I didn’t lose!
Tomorrow we are off to Edinburgh, Scotland-the other country of my ancestors.
