The ever so slight movements of the ship was hardly noticeable during the night. In retrospect I think it lulled me to sleep. We’d turned down the air conditioning and although the room was cool we were super cosy under the bed covers.
It is a day at sea today so no need to rush around. We eventually hit the breakfast buffet but Christine’s legs are reacting a bit to the long walk in the heat yesterday so she is staying in today.
I meandered down to deck five to see what was for sale in the ship shops. Nothing really that I can afford let alone want. I’ve had a thought (which is never a good thing). You know when they mention pirates hijacking a cruise ship? Well perhaps they actually OPERATE THEM? Hahaha
It is Gala night tonight and I decided to go and find out how much a hairdo would cost. Ok there is a special on hair colour (the girl noticed my grey Malon streak!). She made the appointment for 3:30. Checked up on Christine then lunched in the dining room.
I was placed on a table with a French couple. They didn’t speak English but with the meagre French I could dredge up from my distant past at school I found out their names were Babette and Jean Claude. They were nice but it was difficult.
I’d done a few rounds of walking this morning and was sitting on 3300steps so I’m off again now trying to work off the lunch I’ve eaten.
Had literally 40 winks after returning to the cabin and arrived at the hairdressers ‘Jean Louis David’. A gorgeous young hairdresser from Cuba chose a colour and has applied it perfectly. His name is Leandro. My hair turned out really nice.
We had lots of photos taken whilst we paraded our good clothes had dinner and went to the show before retiring to bed.
Morocco tomorrow…..
