Last day in Northern Ireland…

It’s always a sad thing for me to say goodbye. It’s actually my trigger word to cry. Today was one of those days. I busied myself this morning finishing laying out the dress pattern we started yesterday. It was very pleasing to see that all the hard thinking paid off and the pattern matching, even if I say so myself turned out perfectly. Well maybe not perfect but pretty close. I’ll be interested to see the finished dress.

After a lovely Sunday roast pork with all the trimmings my cousin drove me out to see his son’s and his latest project. They’re building a house with quite lovely views.

On the way there I saw a gorgeous little house and added another reference picture to the bulging storage in my phone.

My cousins son and family were at the house when we got back so I was able to say goodbye to them before I changed to go out to dinner with my other cousin.

I had to take the car back that they so kindly loaned to me. But had been asked to call into my cousins sons house on the way there as he wanted to ‘fit me up’ with some home made gin!! Hope I can get THAT through the airport security.

Talking about airport, that’s where the restaurant was this evening. We had reached there after meteoric speeds. I think I’ve now lost all my wrinkles (G force!! Haha). Thankfully my cousin is a very good driver and I really loved the speed in the Porsche.

Belly bulging yet again I was finally dropped off having said farewell to another family group. Wishing Australia wasn’t sooo far from Northern Ireland.

Off to sleep once my case and bag were packed. Barcelona tomorrow….
