We had been meaning to get a seat on the deck but they were all taken. Passed by a table with a selection of food but I couldn’t help stopping to take a pic of the beautifully carved fruits.

Up late as our feet and legs were talking to us! A leisurely morning stretched out in one of the lounges with a beautiful view of the ocean.

We had lunch in the dining room watching the waves pass by. It was quite rolly today and the movement I find is very relaxing.
Tonight was a cocktail party for our ‘level’ of membership of MSC. We managed to fit in two or three of them before we went in for dinner.

The food wasn’t great (again) but it was Mediterranean night so the tables were nicely set and the waiters came out with food whilst singing.

The evening was made even more fun because our new Dutch friends joined us for dinner. Marijke is one of, if not THE funniest woman I’ve ever met. Such a quick sense of humour and very dry. It’s such a pleasure to have teamed up with them. We arranged to meet tomorrow for breakfast before we go on and try to find the best deal for a taxi.
Photographers are all over the ship. I have no idea how many I’ve posed for or how many pics have been taken. It will be interesting to figure out if and how many I’ll purchase at the end of the cruise.
The show tonight was flamenco dancers. It was really good and afterwards we had a baileys for a nightcap. Christines (boyfriend-One of the photographers has taken a shine to her) wanted her to stay and chat but we ended up coming to bed and passing out.
It’s Tenerife tomorrow….
